The cutting element (2) can be inserted into a saw blade or other device (1) and has a profiled rear surface suitable for being engaged with a matching surface at the main part (1). The front of the cutting element (2) is provided with a recess (3) for the accommodation of a clamping element (4) with a toggle effect. The toggle element (4) is additionally secured by laser welding (7).
