<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device designed so as to perform calibration when a load is not applied to the device for a fixed period when performing the calibration. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device processes printing data stored in a storage means by using density correction information updated by the execution of calibration, generates printing execution data with printability and relatedly stores the printing data and the printing execution data in the storage means, when the device judges that the possibility that the device is used is low on the basis of the value of measurement of the environment of the image forming device when the device receives the printing data described in a page description language, records to a recording means, and generates printing execution data with printability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
