摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit of an automatic transmission which can realize comfortable start even when a sufficient amount of oil cannot be ensured due to time degradation of oil or the like at the time of re-starting an engine after idling stop. <P>SOLUTION: An engagement pressure control means issues to an engine control unit a command to reduce torque of an engine so that the torque does not exceed the engagement capacity of a start clutch in an engagement phase. When a difference between a number of revolutions of a turbine and a number of revolutions of an input shaft of the transmission after completion of the engagement phase, is larger than a predetermined value, an engine torque reducing command is issued to set the engine torque limitation amount after the completion of the engagement phase larger than a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
