PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating assembly with a rotating member easy to fix onto a shaft, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A cam piece 3 of a cam shaft 1 has an inner hole 31 into which a driving shaft 2 is inserted. In the inner hole 31, a plurality of grooves 34 are formed extending to the inserting direction of the driving shaft 2. The driving shaft 2 is inserted into the inner hole 31 in the state that the cam piece 3 is heated and the diameter of the inner hole 31 is enlarged. In this state, it is cooled and the diameter of the inner hole 31 is shrunk again. Thus, the outer peripheral face of the driving shaft 2 is thrust by the inner hole 31, raised up and put into the grooves 34, whereby the cam piece 3 is firmly fixed to the driving shaft 2.
