PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack having high volume efficiency, securing external impact strength of a battery pack, and easy to position in a battery pack housing part. SOLUTION: A top cover is molded so that the fitting cross section of the top cover fitting to a battery cell becomes an elliptic shape having a curved surface part of a curvature radius different in the bottom side of the battery cell and the top side of the battery cell. A corner part having the same curvature radius as that in the corresponding fitting part is formed in the top surface part forming a part of the outer package of the battery pack, and a plane part is installed in a part corresponding to the side part of the battery pack.
