PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of quickly and easily retrieving a desired document out of documents stored in the apparatus. SOLUTION: When storing a document, in a document management information storage section, the following are stored: ordinary document management information, input source information for identifying whether a keyword and the document are used for copying, scanning or a print job, and a database for which a path by which the document has been stored is added to the document management information.
