PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate combination and selection of a reduction gear and a motor and constitution of also a geared motor for rectangular cross and also a parallel axis geared motor by using the same general-purpose helical motor. SOLUTION: Both of an orthogonal gear head 100 having an orthogonal converting mechanism 104 provided with a helical inner spline (a helical gear), which can be geared with a helical spline (a helical pinion) on a motor shaft 402, as an own input gear, and capable of converting the rotation direction of a power inputted from the motor 400 side into an orthogonal direction, and a parallel gear head 200 having a parallel axis reduction mechanism capable of effecting reduction of a power inputted from the side of the motor 400 can be coupled with the same motor 400, and in at least the one of them, a plurality of kinds are prepared exchangeably for the same motor 400.
