PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sharp electric shaver constantly closely attaching an outer blade to an inner blade by eliminating the deterioration of elasticity of spring arms when being used for a long period of time by simultaneously replacing the outer blade and its tension structure. SOLUTION: This electric shaver is provided with the outer blade 17 retained into an arch shape by an outer blade holder 18. The outer blade includes a sheet-shaped net blade body 51, a retaining frame 52 fixed to one of opposed edges of the net blade body 51, and the tension structure fixed to the other of the opposed edges of the net blade body 51. The tension structure includes an energizing frame 61, a spring body 62 fixed to the net blade body 51 along with the energizing frame 61, and a protective cover 63 covering the outer surfaces of the both. The plurality of spring arms 72 are provided in the upper part of the spring body 62, and the spring arms 72 energize the net blade body 51 to push down to the inner blade 16. The retaining frame 52 and the tension structure are received by step parts 54 and 55 provided on the inner face in front/rear walls of the outer blade holder 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
