A closing system comprises relatively displaceable flat wall members 6 abutting each other with their edges when in a closed position, means for shifting the members 6 into a rotary magazine or as shown together to a pile with the flat sides thereof upon each other, the wall members 6 being displaceable independently of each other along supporting rails 8 mounted on a carriage displaceable transversely of the rails 8 on rollers 10. The rails 8 may be swingably mounted around a common axis thus forming a rotatable magazine. The wall members 6 run by means of rollers 5 along a rail 3 and each one is pushed on to a rail 8, and when one rail 8 has been used the carriage is moved to bring a vacant rail 8 in line with the rail 3 by two driving chains 14 moved by hand means or by means of a maltese cross 15 engaged by a pin 16, Fig. 2 (not shown) on a wall member 6. The rollers 10 of the carriage engage equidistantly spaced recesses 13 in their supporting rails, Fig. 1 (not shown) which ensure alignment of rails 3 and 8. A carriage may be provided at each end of the rail 3. The system may be used for roofs and doors which are not in a vertical plane. |
