PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a copolymerization polymer having a desired molecular weight with a high reproducibility and effectively in the successive batch reaction using one vessel without cleaning. SOLUTION: The method comprises producing a copolymer by a batch wise manner using a polymerization initiator, wherein the reaction is conducted after the addition of a polymerization inhibitor in an amount of 0.9-50 equivalent times as much as an amount of the polymerization initiator contained in the reaction product of the previous batch remained in a reaction vessel.
