The device has a frame (2) with a mirror (4), and organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) (1) arranged in cavities (3) formed on right and left of the mirror in the frame. The OLEDs are fastened with plates or adhesive and includes a reflector on its rear side. The OLEDs are attached to the device in a curved manner. The OLEDs are arranged in the area of mirror at a distance of 15 and 30 millimeters. An independent claim is also included for a use of an organic light emitting diode (OLED) for lighting a mirror in a sun visor of a motor vehicle.
