<p num="1"><br/><br/><br/>The invention relates to a system and to a method for monitoring grouped <br/>objects, particularly goods in logistic systems, with at least one gateway (3) <br/>and a number of radio nodes (8), which can be placed on the objects (1) and <br/>which each have an arithmetic unit (9), a short-range communications unit (10) <br/>and a power supply unit (13). At least one of the radio nodes (8) or the <br/>gateway (3) comprise a localization unit (12). At least one of the radio nodes <br/>(8) optionally also comprises a short-range communications unit (11). The <br/>arithmetic unit (9) contains at least one control program for executing <br/>predetermined tasks in the radio node (8), which is designed for controlling a <br/>bi-directional communication between the radio nodes (8) via the short-range <br/>communications unit (10) for forming an ad hoc network. The control program <br/>takes over the control of a tuning process between the radio nodes (8) during <br/>which one of the radio nodes (8) is selected for executing one of the <br/>predetermined tasks that, at the moment, is best suited for the task according <br/>to predetermined criteria. The inventive system enables the transparence of <br/>physical flows of goods in logistic systems to be increased and the exertion <br/>of energy and costs therefor to be limited.<br/>
