<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly dispersing supported catalyst containing catalyst metal particles each having a small particle size, and a manufacturing method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises a first step of dissolving cation-exchange polymers in alcohol to prepare a cation-exchange polymer containing solution, a second step of mixing the cation-exchange polymer solution in the first step with catalyst metal precursors or a catalyst metal precursor containing solution, a third step of adjusting pH of the result from the second step to heat it, a fourth step of performing a reducing reaction of the precursors by adding and agitating a reducing agent to the result from the third step, a fifth step of mixing the result from the fourth step with a catalyst carrier, and a sixth step of forming a deposition by adding a deposition agent to the result from the fifth step to filter and dry it. Reducing the particle diameters of the metal particles of the supported catalyst enables improving a catalyst activity against a catalyst metal support amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
