PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injector allowing a user to stably and smoothly perform a pushing operation of an extrusion rod regardless of the size of the hand. SOLUTION: This embryo or sperm injector for livestock is provided with an injector body composed of an injection tube 1 mounted with a straw tube 5 storing the embryo or the sperm and the extrusion rod 2 inserted into the injection tube to be retractable, and a sheath 3 externally fitted on the syringe body. The pushing operation of the extrusion rod 2 inserted into the injection tube 1 and projecting rearward from the rear end of the injection tube is continuously and stepwisely performed by narrowing the opening interval between fingers placed on the rear part of the injection tube and the extrusion rod.
