<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway-mounted truck transport device that can freely move on a floor surface at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A truck can move along a guide rail 3 of a recessed groove cross-section installed in a linear or curved form on a floor surface according to a predetermined transport route. Caster type wheels 10 are installed at the lower surface of a truck main body 1, and the side surface of the truck is provided with vertically movable guide pins 21 and a brake 23 for use in locking the truck when the truck 1 stops. The guide pins 21 are lowered in the groove of the guide rail 3 to enable the truck to run along the guide rail 3, and when the guide pins 21 is lifted, the truck can be moved freely on the floor surface.
