摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device improved in operation stability and capable of preventing a large load to be generated by vibration of wheels and a car body when traveling and to be applied to a pinion shaft by reducing vibration and the bending moment to be applied to the pinion shaft and a pinion provided in a lower end of an extension shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A double Cardan constant velocity universal joint 4 having heavy mass is vibrated by vibration of the wheels and the car body when travelling, but since an elastic shaft joint 7 is interposed at a nearly intermediate position of the axial length of the extension shaft 50, vibration of the double Cardan constant velocity universal joint 4 is absorbed by an elastic body 72 of the elastic shaft joint 7. Consequently, since vibration and the bending moment to be applied to the pinion shaft 53 and the pinion 54 are reduced, operation stability is improved, and a large load to be applied to the pinion shaft 53 can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
