PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and speedily perform specification of a communication fault spot and explication of a fault factor by immediately and surely collecting error information in a station side device if connection of call originated from a mobile terminal is disabled or communication is cut off in a method for collecting and storing error information from a mobile terminal and an apparatus for collecting and storing error information at mobile terminal and station sides. SOLUTION: If call origination of a connection request from a mobile terminal 10 via a mobile communication network 20 is not normally connected or if the call origination is temporarily connected but then cut off abnormally, error information containing an area where a fault occurs, a terminal identification code, a service code and an error code at such a time is transmitted from the mobile terminal 10 by one of a plurality of mobile communication networks 21, 22 with different communication systems, and the error information is received, stored and summed up for each item by a station side error information storage apparatus 30.
