PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic EL element light emitting layer in which there is no photolithographic process in a light emitting layer forming process, which has high reproduction characteristics and which is eco-friendly with no photoresist development fluid waste. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the organic EL element light emitting layer by a printing method, a lithographic printing original plate having characteristics that affinity to ink is changed by energy irradiation is used. The method of manufacturing the organic EL element light emitting layer has (1) a process of irradiating energy to the lithographic printing original plate having the characteristics that the affinity to ink is changed by irradiating the energy to prepare the lithographic printing original plate, sequentially (2) a process of installing the obtained lithographic printing plate at a lithographic offset printing machine, and (3) a process of carrying out printing on a substrate to become a printed body after supplying humidifying water and an application liquid for forming the organic EL element light emitting layer.
