PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "a music reproducing device and a tune selection method" in which reproducing conditions can be switched by extremely simple operation even if random reproduction over multiple music albums is performed. SOLUTION: A dedicated button for switching the reproducing conditions is arranged for the execution of the reproduction by a designated reproduction mode. By carrying out control so that each of the tunes is sequentially reproduced with the reproduction conditions switched in accordance with the operation of the dedicated button, when performing random reproduction over the multiple music albums, for example, is performed, the reproducing conditions are switched by the extremely simple operation of just pressing the dedicated button, and only the tunes of a favorite artist, for example, can be reproduced.
