LOAD SENSOR OF OPTICAL FIBER TYPE AND INTRUDER DETECTION SYSTEM USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load sensor of an optical fiber type for sensing only the load change by an object which should be sensed such as an intruder and hardly sensing temperature change and a minute load change with a small influence by surrounding temperature. SOLUTION: The optical fiber load sensor comprises: a first long elastic body 1 which is installed to provide a gap with a structure 5 and deflects in a direction of narrowing the gap due to load; a second elastic body 2 whose cross section area and width are smaller than the first elastic body 1, in which one end is fixed on any one of the first elastic body 1 of the gap or the structure 5 and has a gap between the other end and the structure or the first elastic body and which is more flexible than the first elastic body; an optical fiber Bragg grating 3 attached to the second elastic body; and a photodetector connected to the optical fiber Bragg grating.
