PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely lightweight beam material for a large and a small beam used for a floor and a roof of a steel-framed building. SOLUTION: The whole of the beam material is made into a horizontally oriented shape made by a relatively thin steel sheet material, and the cross section consists of an upper space part (P), a middle vertical plate part (Q), and a lower space part (R). The upper space part (P) forms a triangular-prism-shaped space (p) in a lateral direction by bending the thin steel sheet material into an inverted isosceles triangle (11) which makes a top surface, to which a roof material is affixed, a base (1). Then the lower space part (R) forms a triangular-prism-shaped space (r) in a lateral direction by bending the thin steel sheet material into an isosceles triangle (22) which makes a lowrer base a base (2), and concavely-fallen ribs (6) are formed on the side surfaces of each of the triangles. Then a plurality of arbitrary-sized holes (3) are bored at arbitrary regular intervals on the plate surface of the beam plate (q) of the middle vertical plate part (Q), and the base angles of the upper space part (P) and the lower space part (R), which are bent into isosceles triangles, are made curve-bent parts (1'), (2') respectively. Then concrete (4) is poured for the upper space part (P) and the lower space part (R) as necessary, and piano wires (5) are stretched taut in the lower space part (R). COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
