PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer wall construction structure with a superior aesthetic appearance. SOLUTION: This outer wall construction structure 1 is formed by installing a plurality of outer wall panels 10 having upper part lower solid parts 11 formed on the upper sides and lower part upper solid parts 12 formed on the lower sides while vertically shiplap joining to each other so as to construct an outer wall. The outer wall panel 10 comprises, on a decorative surface 14, lateral joint parts 2 and a projected part 101 formed between the lateral joint parts 2. A lower end tilted part 121 tilted backward is formed at the lower end part of the decorative surface 14. A connected joint part 12 retreated from the projected part 101 is formed at the upper end of the decorative surface 14. In the two outer wall panels 10 vertically shiplap joined to each other, the lower end tilted part 121 of the upper side outer wall panel 10 and the connected joint part 13 of the lower side outer wall panel 10 are vertically disposed adjacent to each other, and the front end part 131 of the connected joint part 13 is projectedly disposed forward of the lower end part 122 of the lower end tilted part 121.
