PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track branch part capable of being efficiently laid while eliminating complication of laying work; and to provide a laying method of its track branch part. SOLUTION: In this track branch part S, main tracks 71' and 72' are composed of two rails R, and the main tracks are arranged in a plurality of rows on a plurality of long size sleepers 1, and a branch track S2 for crossing the mutual main tracks is arranged on the long size sleepers 1. The long size sleepers 1 are constituted by joining a plurality of sleeper pieces 2 and 3, and a fitting part is arranged in joining parts A and B of the sleeper pieces 2 and 3. The mutual sleeper pieces 2 and 3 are integrated by fitting and joining the mutual fitting parts A and B. The joining parts A and B of the sleeper pieces 2 and 3 are positioned between the mutual main tracks, and the joining parts A and B of the respective sleeper pieces 2 and 3 are arranged in a row.
