PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, cutting down the communication cost in a state diagnosis system of a ship engine. SOLUTION: In this state diagnosis system of a ship engine, first a user 10 inputs data used for diagnosis to a cellular phone 12. When the input is ended, the cellular phone 12 transmits diagnosis data 34 to a Web server 14. After the Web server 14 receives the transmitted diagnosis data 34 to shape the data to a predetermined format conformable to an input form of a diagnosis program, the shaped data is transmitted as the shaped diagnosing data 34' to a diagnosing personal computer 16. After the diagnosing personal computer 16 receives the shaped diagnosing data 34' and stores the same in the interior, the received data is input to diagnose the state.
