The component consists of halogen containing flame retardant equipped thermoplastic compositions marked in the mass with a fluorescence dye. The single components or fragments are electro magnetically irradiated for the stimulation of the fluorescence of the fluorescence dye. The thermoplastics are polybutylene terephthalate, polyethylene terephthalate, polycarbonates, aliphatic or aliphatic-aromatic polyamide, polyphenylene oxide or thermoplastic elastomers. The component does not contain halogen containing flame retardant. An independent claim is included for production of shaped parts from different plastic forms.
