<p>A frame for buildings, which can be used in particular for doors, windows and facades, and having high sound and heat insulation properties comprises a profile (10) on which, on the outside (12) or inside (13) thereof, a plurality of shaped portions (21) made from insulating, ballistic, self-extinguishing and/or burglary-resistant material are fixed; the external finishing of the frame is carried out by means of a coating section bar (30), which is positioned above the shaped portions (21). It is thus possible to transform a normal frame into a heat insulated frame or a frame having fire retardant, burglary-resistant and/or anti-projectile characteristics quickly and operating with the frame already mounted, furthermore reducing processing time and the labour costs.</p> |
