ALKALINE STORAGE BATTERY

摘要

An alkaline storage battery which comprises a positive electrode comprising nickel hydroxide as an active material, a negative electrode, a separator and an electrolyte comprising an aqueous alkali solution, as main components, wherein a foaming type three-dimensional porous article containing nickel as a main component is used as the core material of the positive electrode, and the core material accounts for 30 to 50 % of the weight of the positive electrode. The above alkaline storage battery allows the combination of the electron conductivity and ion conductivity, and thus has long life under a severe condition and exhibits high out put.
