<p>An ethylenic resin which exhibits a satisfactorily high melt tension and can provide a formed product excellent in mechanical strength, characterized in that it satisfies all the following requirements [1] to [5]: [1] a melt flow rate (MFR) at a load of 2.16 kg at 190°C is 0.1 to 100 g/10 min, [2] a density (d) is 875 to 970 kg/m<SUP>3</SUP>, [3] a ratio [MT/?*(g/P)] of a melt tension at 190°C [MT(g)] to a shear viscosity [?*(P)] at 200°C and at an angular velocity of 1.0 rad/sec is 1.50 X 10<SUP>-4</SUP> to 9.00 X 10<SUP>-4</SUP>, [4] a sum [(A+B)(/1000C)] of a number of methyl branches [A(/1000C)] and a number of ethyl branches [B(/1000C)] both per 1000 carbon atoms is 1.8 or less, as measured by <SUP>13</SUP>C-NMR, and [5] a zero shear viscosity [?<SUB>0</SUB>(P)] at 200°C and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) as measured by the GPC-viscosity detector method (GPC-VISCO) satisfy the following relationship formula (Eq-1). 0.01 × 10<SUP>-13</SUP> × Mw<SUP>3.4</SUP> = ?<SUB>0</SUB> = 4.5 × 10<SUP>-13</SUP> × Mw<SUP>3.4 </SUP>-----(Eq-1)</p> |
