PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating immune responses to prostate-specific antigen (PSA).

SOLUTION: This method for generating the immune responses to the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) includes a process for introducing a sufficient amount of the first recombinant poxvirus vector into a host to stimulate the immune response, wherein the poxvirus vector has at least one insertion site containing a DNA segment encoding operably bound prostate-specific antigen (PSA).
