<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ease place and time restriction to arrangement of maintenance staff, to suppress the labor costs of maintenance staff and to take measures such as quick restoration, in a remote maintenance system and a remote maintenance method utilizing portable telephone terminals. <P>SOLUTION: An operation terminal 30 receives fault information from a monitor/maintenance target apparatus 10 through a network 20, selects the portable telephone terminal 40 of a maintenance staff member to be notified in accordance with the contents of the fault information and transmits the fault information to the selected portable telephone terminal 40. The portable telephone terminal 40 displays the fault information and transmits work instruction information for the fault of the monitor/maintenance object apparatus 10 to the operation terminal 30. The operation terminal 30 transmits control instruction information corresponding to the work instruction information for the fault which is received from the portable telephone terminal 40 to the apparatus 10. The operation terminal 30 has a function for learning and storing control instruction information for the respective faults and transmits control instruction information directly to the apparatus 10 for an already learned fault, when receiving it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
