PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize receiving state in a system for receiving digital terrestrial TV broadcast where a multi-directivity antenna 2 and a TV broadcast receiver 1 are connected through a cable 4 even if the level and S/N ratio of a TV broadcast signal are low regardless of the installation place of the multi-directivity antenna 2 and the TV broadcast receiver 1 or the length of the cable 4. SOLUTION: The multi-directivity antenna 2 comprises a variable amplifier 24 for amplifying a received TV broadcast signal and capable of controlling the gain from the TV broadcast receiver 1 side. The TV broadcast receiver 1 detects the level of a TV broadcast signal outputted from the multi-directivity antenna 2 and controls the gain of the variable amplifier 24 depending on the detected level.
