PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide type sensor which suppresses light connection loss small, has a simple and small structure, high sensitivity, no temperature dependency, be low in manufacturing cost and capable of measuring displacement, vibration, acceleration, etc. SOLUTION: The optical waveguide type sensor 10 is constituted by aligning three transparent blocks 1 to 3 of which the end surfaces are arranged close to each other on a substrate 4, fixing the transparent blocks 1 and 3 on both sides on the substrate 4, fixing the middle transparent block 2 on the substrate via an elastic member 5, forming the optical waveguides 11 to 13 so as to transverse in each of the transparent blocks 1 to 3, and connecting with each other optical waveguide 11 to 13 of the transparent blocks 1 to 3 neighboring in a stationary state.
