PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake lever of a spindle brake, which at least partially comprises an elastic material, and in which at least one braking lining 16 capable of being operated and contacted with a spindle is disposed, and a means 12 for rotatably and pivotally supporting the brake lever 10 on a brake lever support between a stationary position and a braking position is also disposed. SOLUTION: This brake lever of the spindle brake is characterized by stabilizing the revolution posture of the brake lever 10 in response to the braking position without relating to the worn state of at least one brake lining 16, and/or disposing an additional means and/or other means 50 for locking the revolution.
