MOLTEN GLASS FEEDER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS PRODUCTS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten glass feeder mounted in a glass manufacturing apparatus which can increase the capacity of glass melting equipment and maintain stable quality, and to provide a method for manufacturing glass products capable of obtaining glass products achieving high homogeneity by using the molten glass feeder. SOLUTION: The molten glass feeder 10 is a feed tube for continuously feeding inorganic molten glass G from a first melting vessel 20 in which the level of the molten glass G in the vessel is positioned at the upper part to a second melting vessel 30 at the lower part. An outer casing tube 11 composing the sidewall of the feed tube is not dipped in the surface of the level of the molten glass G in the second melting vessel 30 and is provided with a molten glass flowing-guide member 12.
