摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nano-finely divided particle manufacturing method capable of appropriately dispersing, in a liquid phase, nano-finely divided particles which comprise one kind of single finely divided particle, two or more kinds of solid solutions, or composite particles, and have a primary particle diameter of a nano-meter order. <P>SOLUTION: In this method, an aggregate of nano-finely divided particles comprising a metal oxide of Ce, Zr, or the like is charged into a liquid phase. In this liquid phase, a jet stream is generated by means of ultrasonic waves, pressure, stirring, or the like. With this jet stream, the aggregate is crushed and dispersed into an individual finely divided particle 1. Next, the individually dispersed nano-finely divided particle 1 is made existence in the liquid phase together with a metal precursor and a reducing agent. The jet stream is regenerated in the liquid phase, thereby reducing the metal precursor.
