<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet multiplate clutch device having less-changed friction property by efficiently suppressing the occurrence of heat spot. <P>SOLUTION: The wet multiplate clutch device 10 comprises a separator plate 14 having a friction face on which a plurality of recessed portions 14b and protruded portions 14c are formed. The recessed portions 14b and the protruded portions 14c are arranged extending to the radial direction of the separator plate 14, at circumferential intervals p shorter than circumferential intervals Ps of the meandering deformation of the separator plate 14 due to friction heat between the separator plate 14 and a friction plate 15 so that both recessed portions 14 and both protruded portions 14c each have a surface-reverse corresponding relationship. A depth d of the recessed portion 14b is greater than a thickness tf of the friction material 19 of the friction plate 15. The friction material 19 having a plurality of segments is fixed to the friction face of the friction plate 15.
