PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a candle device capable of simultaneously safely and surely igniting, with the fire of a match or a lighter, the firing wicks of a plurality of candles held in an abutting form, and boosting the atmosphere of a site by generating fireworks like opening act and letting visitors enjoy the fireworks until the simultaneous ignition of the firing wicks are carried out. SOLUTION: This candle device is so structured that a plurality of petal-like pieces 2 are vertically openably and closably supported around a post 1 supported to a support base 7; when the respective petal-like pieces 2 are positioned at the closed position, candles 5 attached to tips of the respective petal-like pieces 2 are brought down and the firing wicks 5a are held in an abutting form above the post; the petal-like pieces 2 are expanded by the simultaneous ignition of the firing wicks 5; and the candles 5 ignited at the opened position are erected on the respective petal-like pieces 2. A fusing rod 13 with a fusing chemical layer 14 containing a firework constituent formed around a core 13a is erected on the post 1, and the firing wicks 5a of the respective candles 5 are faced to the circumference of the fusing chemical layer 14 close to the base part of the fusing rod 13 in an abutting form.
