PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for reducing jamming. SOLUTION: A set-top box comprises an internal circuit, and a tact switch 40 having a tact to be pressed down for giving an instruction to the internal circuit from the outside. The set-top box further comprises a bottom chassis 14 for storing the internal circuit and the tact switch 40 while a first hole opens; and a front case 12, where a projection is provided on the back. In the front case 12, the projection is mounted to the bottom chassis 14 so that the projection passes through the first hole of the bottom chassis 14. The tact is located so that it receives force from the projection when a button 20 is elastically deformed by external force.
