PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an installation space of a connecting member small by making sure electrical connection and facilitating the mounting of the connecting member by using a coil spring as the connecting member to electrically connect both substrates, in a fluorescent tube equipped with a vacuum vessel composed of a pair of substrates facing each other and a side member and structured so as to collect wiring extending toward the outside of the vacuum vessel such as anode wiring formed on a pair of the substrates and cathode wiring on one substrate. SOLUTION: An anode A is disposed on a first substrate 11, and its internal wiring AW1 is formed on it. A filament F is disposed on a second substrate 12, and the cathode wiring FW1, FW2 and the external anode wiring AW2 are formed on it. The internal anode wiring AW1 is connected with the external anode wiring AW2 by a coil spring 31. One end of the coil spring 31 is fixed to the external wiring AW2 with conductive paste 321, and the other end of the coil spring 31 is brought into contact with the internal anode wiring AW1 by being pushed.
