PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head suspension in which a new function is given to a metal thin plate as a base material other than a function as a spring. SOLUTION: This is a magnetic head suspension in which a plurality of wiring 3 for connecting a magnetic head and a control circuit substrate are formed integrally through an insulation layer 2 on the metal thin plate 1 having a spring property. A metal pad 6 consisting of the same metal layer as the wiring 3 is formed independently of the wiring 3, an opening 8 piercing the insulation layer 2 from a part of the metal pad 6 to the metal thin plate 1 is provided, and such constitution is obtained that the metal pad 6 is connected electrically to the metal thin plate 1 by providing a conduction part by plating at the opening part 8. A desired part can be grounded with simple structure without requiring such complex constitution that a special wiring for ground is provided in addition to the plurality of wiring 3 for connecting the magnetic head and the control circuit substrate.
