PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow protection cover for a traffic signal, which can be used with the snow protection countermeasures of the existing traffic signal without increasing the manufacturing process of the traffic signal. SOLUTION: The snow protection cover 1 for the traffic signal is the cover for the traffic signal having a signal light B which includes: a lens D for covering a light source C; and a hood E arranged by extending forward from the outer peripheral upper part of the lens D. The cover 1 includes: a cylindrical body 2 which has an inner periphery being substantially the same in shape as the outer periphery of the signal light B, is removably fitted from the front of the signal light B, and is fixed to the traffic signal A; and a transparent snow protection board 3 for covering a front opening part 2a of the cylindrical body 2 and whose front surface is inclined backward in the lower part.
