PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image classifying device for updating contents of a group of images to the optimal one according to various conditions without changing the designations of the group, and for holding the images belonging to the group as those that are always optimal to a user. SOLUTION: This image classifying device is provided with a database 11 for recording information related with images and the group of the images, an update object acquiring part 14 for acquiring the group of the images to be updated, an update condition acquiring part 15 for acquiring conditions for updating the group of the images and an image classifying part 17 for updating the contents of the group obtained by the update object acquiring part 14 according to conditions obtained by the update condition acquiring part 15.
