PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm which generates an alarm for rapidly reporting detection of battery voltage drop to a user while hardly bothering the user. SOLUTION: A 24-hour timer 16 is a timer which repeatedly counts 24 hours, and starts counting at the time of construction of the alarm. Therefore, the 24-hour timer 16 outputs a timer signal S3 at the construction time everyday. A CPU 13a generates, according to a fire signal S1 from a fire sensor 11, an alarm reporting the effect by use of a display device 14 and a speaker device 15. A voltage drop detection circuit 12 detects voltage drop of a battery 10. The CPU 13a does not immediately generate an alarm by sound using the speaker device 15 upon detection of voltage drop by the detection circuit 12, and starts generating the alarm by sound under the output of the timer signal S3 from the timer 16.
