PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed digital signal receiver capable of suppressing power consumption without using a temperature sensor even when a frequency of a digital signal to be inputted is higher than a specified value, and also, capable of preventing a temperature from exceeding a guarantee range. SOLUTION: When the high-speed digital signal receiver 100 is in an ON-state, reception operation is continued as it is if abnormality is not detected in output of an abnormal operation detecting means 102. When the abnormality is detected, the high-speed digital signal receiver 100 is turned off for a specified period of time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
