PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric filer and a dielectric duplexer capable of easily adjusting the frequency of an attenuation pole to achieve a desired filter characteristic while further miniaturizing than a conventional technique, and preventing deterioration in a Q value of a resonator irrespective of the miniaturization. SOLUTION: Opening surface electrodes are provided on the dielectric filter having a super-different axis structure. The capacitance between each of the opening surface electrodes and an external conductor is made larger than the capacitance generated between adjacent opening surface electrodes, and an area of a center side of arrangement of the opening surface electrodes are made larger than that of an area outside thereof. Electrode protruding portions 85a, 85b, 85c are formed from the opening surface electrodes 82a, 82c, 83c. An input/output electrode 74c is formed on the short circuit surface of an excitation hole to be interdigital-coupled, and resonance holes 72a-72c and 73a-73c on the short circuit surface are arranged with an approximately regular interval.
