PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing consolidated wood used as a building material or the like with good productivity. SOLUTION: Wood 1 is held between two flat plates 2 and 2 to be arranged in a press hot plate 3 and pressed in the direction narrowing the interval between the flat plates under heating by the press hot plate 3. Fixing tools are attached to two flat plates in a pressurized state to integrate the wood 1 and the flat plates 2 and 2 so that the interval between the flat plates 2 and 2 is fixed and the wood 1 is taken out of the press hot plate 3 in a state that the flat plates 2 and 2 and the wood 1 are integrated and cooled to manufacture the consolidated wood.
