PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic die for hydro-forming and a hydro-forming method, by which die and method, both of a hydro-forming process and a cutting-off process can be performed. SOLUTION: In the hydro-forming process for forming a metallic pipe 3 into a shape corresponding to the shape of the inside surface of the metallic die A by expanding the metallic pipe 3 by supplying hydraulic fluid into the metallic pipe 3 arranged in the metallic die A, the metallic pipe 3 is cut off by hydraulic pressure at the position abutting a planned cutting-off position of the metallic pipe 3 after hydro-forming by separately moving the separated portion of the metallic die in the axial direction of the metallic pipe 3. Because both of the hydro-forming process and the cutting-off process can be performed in the hydro-forming facility, the facility for performing the cutting-off process becomes unnecessary, and the time of the process and cost can be reduced.
