PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining a bioactive factor produced by a cultured microglial cell in high reliability. SOLUTION: The test method for a bioactive factor produced by a cultured microglial cell is characterized by the use of a culture liquid incorporated with (a) insulin, (b) transferrin and (c) a macrophage colony stimulating factor (M-CSF) or a granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) or their mixture.
