The provisional implant (2) can either be directly inserted into the base (1) or into a sleeve (6) joined to the base (1) with projections (7) engaging with complementary recesses. The head of the implant (2) is designed in order to be joined to the upper part of the final unit. The lower segment (9) is of a conical shape and can be provided with a threaded section at the bottom to be inserted into a matching recess at a screw-in element. A collar at the upper edge can be positioned on top of the edge of the sleeve (6).
