An imaging device (100) in which, in imaging an object, the drive of a drive motor (7) is controlled to move a lens section (4) in the optical axis direction, thereby autofucusing is performed where the focus of the lens section (4) is automatically adjusted. A cam member (6) has formed on it a cam surface with which a contact section (53a) of an outer tube section (5) comes into contact, and the cam surface has an AF range and a horizontal standard range, the AF range having a slope for causing the lens section (4) to be displaced in the optical axis direction by the autofucusing, the horizontal standard range being the range in which imaging can be performed with focus fixed.
